Derrick injures knee, out for season
Derrick Rose suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in Saturday’s 103-91 playoff win over the 76ers. The injury will force Derrick to miss the rest of the season, the team announced Saturday.
Rose had 23 points, nine rebounds and nine assists before suffering the injury with 1:22 left in the game.
There is currently no timetable for a return to the court.

Groin injury continues to hold Derrick out
Derrick Rose’s groin injury has held him out of three games and will likely cause him to stay on the bench as the Bulls face the Orlando Magic on Monday night.
“I really don’t know,” Derrick said about a timetable for returning to the court. “They haven’t gave me a time. They say with an injury like this you really don’t know how long it’s going to take.
“Where I thought I was going to be back sooner, missing big games that I would hate to miss like the one tonight, but I got to worry about my health.”
Derrick’s groin still is tight and causing him discomfort.

Derrick drops 30, game winner over Bucks
Great players don’t always make potential game winning shots. But they take them, which is what Derrick Rose did Wednesday in Milwaukee, and his step back jumper settled through the net as time expired for a 106-104 Bulls victory.
