Derrick Rose will get his first taste of NBA training camp when the Bulls report on Monday, September 29th to camp. Monday will be Media Day, before the real work begins Tuesday. Derrick’s knee is in good shape, and will be tested early as the Bulls will start two-a-day practices on the first day. The morning session will run from 10:00 – 11:30 AM and then the team will practice again from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. Two-a-days are scheduled to last through Saturday, Oct 4th, before the team begins its preseason schedule.
Derrick Rose’s first preseason game will be Oct. 9th at the United Center when the Bulls host the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 PM. The two-a-day conditioning will hopefully pay off as the Bulls travel the next day to face the Pacers in Indianapolis at 6:00 PM (CT).
Other preseason contests include: vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (Oct. 14), vs. Utah Jazz (Oct. 17 in Champaign, Ill), vs. Utah Jazz (Oct. 18), at Dallas Mavericks (Oct. 21), at Minnesota Timberwolves (Oct. 22) and vs. Milwaukee Bucks (Oct. 24). The team will then tip-off the regular season on Oct. 28 at the United Center against Milwaukee.
